International Society for Intelligent Sensing Established; CYAC Becomes a Founding Member

 On May 23, 2026, the inaugural assembly of the International Society for Intelligent Sensing and the 2026 International Conference on Sensing Technology and Applications opened in Chengdu, drawing nearly 500 experts and scholars from 14 countries and regions worldwide.

The unveiling and establishment of the International Society for Intelligent Sensing (ISST, hereinafter "the Society") marks the arrival in the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle of the first international science and technology organization in western China that is initiated by a national society and headquartered outside Beijing. The Society was jointly initiated by the China Instrument and Control Society, the Institute of Measurement and Control (InstMC, UK) and the Italian Association of Instrument Manufacturers, and is an international non-profit academic organization.

CYAC became a founding member of the Society, and its Chief Scientist，Mr． Wu Peng serves as a council member.
