VFD Anti-Vibration Vortex Flowmeter
The VFD Anti-Vibration Vortex Flowmeter is a high-performance instrument that employs advanced digital signal processing technology, setting it apart from conventional vortex flowmeter measurement approaches. It delivers accurate measurement even under pipe vibration levels of up to 1 g and flow velocities as low as 0.3 m/s, making it specifically suited to demanding operating environments.

Features & Benefits
Excellent Low-Flow Performance
The lower measurable liquid velocity is as low as 0.5 m/s. Combined with FFT spectrum analysis and DSP signal processing, the meter reliably identifies vortex signals even at small signals and low flow velocities—ideal for new plants running at low initial flow or units with fluctuating load.
Superior Vibration Resistance
Dual-sensor differential technology: one probe measures the vortex flow signal while the second specifically detects pipe vibration for real-time compensation. Under strong vibration from pumps, valves, and compressors (up to 3 g acceleration), the meter remains stable and accurate—eliminating the jumpy readings and miscounting common to conventional vortex meters.
Wide Turndown and High-Temperature Adaptation
Turndown up to 1:30, with liquid accuracy 0.5 class and gas accuracy 1.0 class. Media temperature ranges from –40 °C to +350 °C (high-temperature version), handling saturated steam, superheated steam, and high-temperature thermal oil.
Low Maintenance Cost
The entire sensor is a one-piece stainless steel structure with no holes, gaps, or extra gaskets—simple design with minimal maintenance. Transmitters are interchangeable across all sensor sizes: one transmitter fits any bore, drastically reducing spare-parts inventory. A technician needs only carry one transmitter for emergency replacement.
Full Explosion-Proof Range and High-Reliability Design
Available in Ex ia intrinsic safety and Ex db flameproof variants, covering IIC T6 temperature class. Reverse-polarity protection, signal isolation, and strong EMI immunity are built in. With no moving parts, the meter requires essentially no routine maintenance over its service life.
